“元気な浜”は、水産庁の補助事業、効率的・安定的沿岸漁業促進事業で運営しています。
　この“元気な浜”では、全国青年・女性漁業者交流大会で農林水産大臣賞に輝いた活動事例を中心に、漁村の活性化を目指した先進的な優良活動事例の情報を発信しています。
　この他、効率的・安定的沿岸漁業促進事業では、沿岸漁業の経営改善等取組事例や交流大会の資料等の情報を発信しています。

水中活動連盟を持たない国に対しての設立支援、水中活動における法律や規則の国際的な統一化、水中活動の国際大会や万国博覧会の主催及び後援、水中スポーツ大会開催の許認可なども活動内容としてあります。また1988年UNESCOとの協同編集で「科学ダイバーマニュアル」を完成。IOC（国際オリンピック委員会）に加盟IUCN（国際自然保護連合）、GAIFS（国際スポーツ連盟機構）に加盟するなど国際機関としてのCMASの活動は益々発展しています。
